He is now in long-term recovery and belongs to the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association. He lives in Orlando, Florida. Peter Golenbock is one of the nation’s best-known sports authors. He has written eight New York Times bestsellers, including The Bronx Zoo (with Sparky Lyle), Number 1 (with Billy Martin), Balls (with Greg Nettles), Personal Fouls, American Prince (with Tony Curtis), and Presumed Guilty (with Jose Baez).
